Stage 1 / 2 NTSF: Provision is engagement activity aimed at improving Health and Wellbeing and Soft Skills in young people and supporting them to overcome multiple barriers they may have through the medium of sporting activity with additional light touch Personal Development support, to enable them to begin the journey through the employability pipeline as and when they are ready.
Stage 2: Personal Development 10 week Academy is aimed at individuals who are furthest from the labour market and have multiple barriers to moving on. We will deliver these academies as Employability Fund activity. Street League engages individuals through a structured programme of education, football and fitness. Our aim is to challenge attitudes, increase confidence, set goals and explore options for progression, offering one to one support and guidance. We ensure that individual and physically active every day, improving their motivation, contribution and preparing them for appropriate progression in line with their needs and choices. The course includes SQA Personal Development Award at SCQF Level 3, as well as some work exposure.
Stage 3 Generic Sport Employability Fund Programmes will be 6 weeks in centre followed by 4 weeks on Work Placement and Caseload Management Work to identiftfy exit routes into next Progressions Destination. Alongside the Sport anf Fitness on offer as part of the daily / weekly activity, this course is more Employability focused, with the creation of CV's, Mock Interviews, Employer Visits to Academies, CV Drops, attending Careers Fayres, College Open Days and more. Stage 3 Course also comprises various SQA Awards at SCQF Level 4, including Wellbeing, Steps to Work and Employability Awards.
Stage 3 Certificate of Work Readiness Programmes will be 4 weeks in centre, participating in Sporting activity as well as having a bigger focus on Employability and possibly being Sector Specific workshops to get them ready for SQA endorsed Work Placement part of the academy. This is followed by 6 weeks on work placement. CoWR Award at SCQF Level 4
